Breakfast with a Researcher
On Wednesday some of the top researchers in the SUID and SUDC communities will be available during breakfast for informal chats with parents to answer their specific questions.
From Grief to Action: A Parent's Guide to Advocacy, Impact and Creating a Legacy
Join fellow bereaved parents for a candid, peer-led conversation on how to channel grief into meaningful action through advocacy, fundraising, and starting a foundation. Facilitated by the Executive Director of KIDS Network, this session offers practical guidance and inspiration to help you create a lasting legacy in your baby’s honor.
Debunking Myths on Grief
This session will explore the most common myths surrounding grief after infant loss—like the idea that you should "move on" or that there's a set timeline for healing. Through honest discussion and shared experiences, we’ll challenge these misconceptions and honor the unique, lifelong journey of grieving a baby.
Memorial Service
This heartfelt memorial service will honor the lives of our precious little ones gone too soon, creating a sacred space for remembrance, reflection, and shared healing. Through candle lighting, music, and words of love, we will come together as a community to say their names, celebrate their light, and hold each other in compassion.

Strong and Silent? Exploring Fathers’ Grief and Healing After Loss
This session will give voice to the often overlooked grief of fathers, exploring how men process loss and the importance of honoring different grief styles within partnerships. Through personal reflections and open dialogue, we’ll create space for dads to share their experiences and shed light on what support looks like for them.

This session will take a critical look at the current state of bereavement care for families who have experienced infant loss, asking the difficult but necessary questions about what's working—and what’s not. Through honest discussion and lived experience, we'll explore how care systems can better meet the emotional, cultural, and practical needs of grieving families.
In the Aftermath: First Response, Compassion, and the Path to Understanding
This panel brings together a parent, first responder, and medical examiner to explore the critical moments following an infant’s death—how first responders should approach families with empathy, the emotional toll these calls take on responders themselves, and the role of the medical examiner in gathering data that informs research and prevention. Together, they’ll offer insight into building a more compassionate, coordinated response that supports families while advancing our understanding of infant loss.
