We are excited to have you attend the 2025 ISPID Conference. Whether you are a first-time or returning attendee, we want to provide you with a great experience. The conference will be held at the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute(NRI) which is part of Baylor College of Medicine.1250 Moursund St, Houston, TX, 77030

The conference will now be hybrid. We are planning a format that will deliver two and a half days of onsite experiences designed for attendees to engage, collaborate and grow. Presenters are required to be onsite in Houston

The health and safety of all attendees, speakers, and staff are our top priority. ISPID is not requiring vaccination verification or masking to attend the 2024 Annual Meeting. However, we ask participants to take the necessary precautions for attending an event, including staying up to date with recommended adult vaccinations.

Yes, ISPID members receive a reduced rate at registration. You can find out more and how to join ISPID here.

An email confirmation is sent immediately following the completion of online registration. If you have not received a confirmation, first check your spam or junk mail folder for an email from If you still cannot find your confirmation email Stephanie Taylor at stephanie@firstcandle.org

If you haven't already paid & completed your registration, you can go back into the registration form and make changes before paying. If you have already completed and paid for your registration, please email Stephanie at ISPID to request corrections/changes to your registration and for assistance.

Login to the 2025 ISPID system. Once you have logged in, you can update your contact information by clicking "Update Profile" on the left hand side of your screen. This will bring you to your contact profile form where you can update your email by entering the new address into both email text fields. To save your new email address, scroll to the bottom of the form and click "Update Profile". Once you have updated and saved the email, this new email will be linked to your account & registration.

To transfer your registration, please email Stephanie at ISPID and request to have your registration transferred. If you would like to transfer your registration, please provide all of the contact information of the person you would like to transfer to and copy them on the email.

Yes, you’ll be able to see the entire program through an app which you can download here (check back soon for the link).

Before you make changes to the presenting author within your submission, please confirm that your co-author can present at the meeting. Once your co-author has confirmed, go to the submission portal, find your submission that you're updating and then click the "Authors" button. Once you have clicked authors, you should see a list of all of the authors tied to your submission which you previously added. If the co-author that will be presenting is not tied to the submission, scroll down and add them as a co-author. Once your co-author is linked to your submission, there will be a button to the right of their name that is labelled "Make Primary Presenter". Click this button, and it will list your co-author as the primary presenter which will also give them editing permissions to the submission.

No. Virtual attendance is restricted to ‘view’ only. The reason for this is to continue in fostering the goal of ISPID’s bi-annual conference to facilitate global live networking and fellowship amongst clinicians, health providers, parents, scientists and law enforcement to see the end of the sudden unexpected and unexplained deaths of our babies and children. As such, we look forward to seeing you face to face in Houston.
However, if you are from a low or middle income country, and do not have any financial means for live attendance and/or Visa issues/restrictions, please reach out to A/Prof Rita Machaalani at rita.machaalani@sydney.edu.au
